DEKOPRO CONFIGURATION (VISUAL INTERFACE)

For the correct function of the command line interface, all the required information is provided in the input files, so this interface doesn't require configuration options.

The visual interface represents the opposite situation. There are a lot of parameters that normally take the same values and wouldn't be necessary to input every time. So you need the possibility to enter a default values for this parameters.

In fact, it's possible to have several groups parameters for the group of situations that really interest you, so you also need the possibility of save them with the intention to use them later. For this purpose you have the menu options “Load Configuration” y “Save Configuration” in the “File” menu.

Figure 1

These configuration values are of two different types: The calculation related ones and those related to the form of the data and the related default values.

The first group parameters are modified by the option “Configuration” in the “Edition” menu. This option shows a dialog (See Figure 1) with the values of the related parameters from sections “PARMS”, “GASTOXICITY” and “DIVER”.

Figure 2

In order to modify the second group of parameters a dialog shown by the “Preferences” option in the “Options” menu is used. This dialog shows a note book with three pages as can be viewed in Figure 2.

The first page refers to the units system to use. This parameter is related to the equivalent one in the “FORMAT” section in the input files. The other parameter in this section, language, can be selected in the preferences menu as is shown in Figure 3.

Figure 3

The two following pages are related to the configuration parameters of the previous group for every units system posible (metric and imperial).

The content of any of this pages is the same that the content shown by the configuration dialog, as you can see in Figure 4.

If the units system changes, all these configuration parameters are updated with the values given in the related page.
